Mid-day Concert in MSRI's Simons Auditorium October 14, 2008 All Day

Description MSRI is pleased to present, as part of its Music+Mathematics series, a performance by the world-famous St. Lawrence String Quartet. This concert will take place at noon on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 in MSRI's Simons Auditorium. The program will consist of two well-loved quartets, Haydn, Op. 77 no. 2, and Dvorak, Op. 106. The concert will be free and open to the public, and you are warmly invited to attend.


Parking: Parking in the Institute's terraced hillside lot -- upper two rows of loop -- requires a Parking Permit, which will be available and posted at the stairway leading up (95+ steps) to the MSRI building. The lot is reached directly off Centennial Drive. Disabled parking spaces are located at the entrance to MSRI's Chern Hall that is reached from Centennial Drive by turning onto the "Gauss Way" access road that leads to MSRI / SSL -- see the link provided below for directions to the Institute.


Public Transportation: On weekdays the H-line Bus -- with stops on the UCB campus -- arrives at MSRI / SSL at 11:21 AM as well as 11:57 AM. Departures from MSRI / SSL leave at 12:55 PM and 1:25 PM stopping on the UCB campus and downtown Berkeley BART. For the complete schedule, please see:
