MSRI and the California Academy of Sciences invite you to join us on Thursday, March 14, 2013 for a celebration of Pi Day as part of the California Academy of Sciences weekly “Nightlife” series for a 21+ crowd.
There will be four tables of mathematical activities including pi Sudoku puzzles, Mobius strips, estimations of pi using the Buffon Needle experiment, and a recitation of pi contest. These tables will be staffed by postdocs and mathematicians from MSRI, UC Berkeley, USF, SFSU, and Mills College.
