MSRI and the California Academy of Sciences invite you to join us on Thursday, February 20, 2014 for an exploration of Rhythms and Patterns as part of the California Academy of Sciences weekly “Nightlife” series for a 21+ crowd.
There will be three tables of mathematical activities including finding patterns in sequences, creating a dragon fractal, and creating a Conway Pinwheel Tiling. These tables will be staffed by postdocs and mathematicians from MSRI, UC Berkeley, USF, SFSU, and Mills College.
