Breakthrough Prize Symposium November 10, 2014 (11:00 AM PST - 05:00 PM PST)
Parent Program: --
Location: Bechtel Confence Center, Stanford University and International House, UC Berkeley
Description

Stanford, UC Berkeley, and UCSF are hosting a day-long series of events in conjunction with the Breakthrough Prizes on Monday, Nov. 10 on the Stanford campus.

There will be three separate symposia in Math, Physics and Life Sciences, running from 11-5 pm, and an evening lecture featuring the Breakthrough Prize winner in Physics. This will be an annual event rotating between the three institutions.

Speaking in the mathematics symposium will be this year’s prize-winners; we will send out a detailed schedule very soon, however we wanted to get the word out since there has been a delay in finalizing the details. As a reminder, this year's prize-winners in mathematics are Simon Donaldson, Maxim Kontsevich, Jacob Lurie, Terry Tao and Richard Taylor.

The event will be live-streamed to the UC Berkeley campus (I-House). Attendance to both events is opened to you by this invitation: use one of the links below to RSVP, as appropriate.

For live streaming at I-House, the RSVP link will be activated soon.
