Math & Cultural

With nearly 35 million articles in 288 languages (and growing), Wikipedia has become a staple of internet culture and a standard reference for the general public since its inception in 2001. To help improve the quality of mathematically themed Wikipedia pages, MSRI will host a Differential Geometry Wikipedia edit-a-thon open to our current scientific members and workshop attendees. The edit-a-thon will take place following Wednesday, May 4th's morning workshop sessions, from 12:30-3:00 p.m. in the Baker Board Room on the second floor. Pizza will be served, and members are free to stay for the full or partial event time. Please register by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3rd if you'd like to attend so that we can provide food.
