Abstract/Media

I'll talk a bit about duality for abelian varieties, both classically and using the modern theory. I'll then give an interpretation of the dual abelian variety as a relative Ext^1 in an appropriate Grothendieck topology, and show how one can recover the relative Weil pairing using a long exact
sequence in cohomology.
