The d-bar approach to inverse scattering and solution of the Davey-Stewartson Equations December 10, 2010

Description We study the scattering map for the linear system
associated to the defocussing Davey-Stewartson II (DS II) equation.
In particular, we show that the scattering map is bi-Lipschitz on the
space $H^{1,1}(R2}$ consisting of $L2$ functions $u$ with $\grad u$
and $|x| u$ in $L2$. We will also discuss prospects for
understanding large-time behavior and soliton solutions to the
focussing DS II equation.
