I will explain the three main parts of my recent work with Galatius: computing the stable homology of sequences of moduli spaces of certain manifolds; homological stability for connect-sum with S^n x S^n; homological stability for attaching general handles. Finally, I will show give an example calculation and compute the rational homology of moduli spaces of manifolds which may be realised as hypersurfaces in CP^4.
