AT Postdoc Seminar: coFiltration of factorization homology, and formal moduli March 07, 2014 (01:00 PM PST - 02:00 PM PST)
Parent Program: --
Location: SLMath: Eisenbud Auditorium
Speaker(s) David Ayala (Montana State University)
Description

I'll explicate the Goodwillie cofiltration of factorization homology in terms of configuration spaces, and argue that it converges on an understood class of algebras.   Then I'll make some conclusions, which amount to a general formulation of Poincare' duality as it intertwines with Koszul duality.  I'll finish with an open interpretation of this as a duality among TQFT's that interchanges perturbative with non-perturbative.

This is joint work with John Francis.
