Abstract/Media

We prove that the Gromov-Hausdorff limit of Kahler manifolds with bisectional curvature lower bound and noncollapsed volume is homeomorphic to a normal complex analytic space. As a consequence, if M is a complete noncompact Kahler surface with positive bisectional curvature and noncollapsed volume, then it is simply connected.
