I will present a PDE approach to certain problems in convex geometry. Although I will use the class of L_p Minkowski problem as a model, the method can be used more generally to show existence of sufficiently smooth convex bodies in R^n as long as these convex bodies are extremals to scaling invariant functionals on a class of admissible convex bodies.
