Abstract/Media

I will present some conjectures I proposed in the last 25 years or so, but they all remain open to this day. The conjectures touch on many topics that have interested me over the years and thus they do not stick to a single topic or math theme.

They include questions about matroids, Ehrhart functions, Littlewood-Richardson coeffs, toric ideals, volumes, triangulations, graphs of polytopes, etc etc.

Still, the conjectures do have 3 more things in common:

(1) All the conjectures are based on extensive computer experimentation,

(2) all are fairly easy to state (say within 10-15 mins), and (3) I spent way too much time trying to figure them out without any success.

This is joint work with tons of people.
