Abstract/Media

I will present a conjectural general correspondence relating quantum invariants of knots in three-space to a version of higher genus mirror symmetry given by the celebrated Eynard-Orantin topological recursion, the computation of the former being solved by the latter. The correspondence rests on the identification of a natural group of piecewise linear transformations on both sides of the correspondence. The talk will be largely introductory and mainly focused on the enumerative geometry/B-model side of the story, and everyone's invited.
