2-Categorical Aspects Of Equivariant Stable Homotopy Theory

Abstract/Media

We explain results of Glasman and Ayala-Mazel-Gee-Rozenblyum on the reconstruction of genuine G-spectra from the data of their geometric fixed points, giving a variation on the AMGR proof developed in joint work with J.D. Quigley. As an application, we then explain how to deduce the theorem of Nikolaus and Scholze on a simplified presentation of the category of p-cyclotomic spectra in the bounded-below setting. The material of this talk is drawn from the arXiv preprint 1909.03920.
