This seminar is presented in 2 talks.
2 - 2:30 PM: "Imaginary Chaos and Malliavin Calculus" - Janne Junnila
I will briefly introduce a class of random distributions known as Imaginary Gaussian Multiplicative Chaos and discuss their basic properties. A specific point of focus will be the existence of probability densities for the laws of random variables obtained by testing the chaos against a test function and I will illustrate how Malliavin calculus can be used to approach such questions. The talk is based on joint work with Juhan Aru and Antoine Jego.
2:45 - 3:15 PM: "Rate of Convergence to SLE" - Larissa Richards
We will discuss a general framework for power-law convergence rates of random discrete model curves approaching SLE in the scaling limit. This is joint work with Ilia Binder.
