Abstract/Media

This will be sketch of the gluing construction in chapter 10 of the book J-holomorphic Curves and Symplectic Topology by McDuff and Salamon. In the book gluing is applied to prove the splitting axiom for the Gromov-Witten invariants. I will state the setting of the construction and give a sketch of the proof.
