Graduate Student Seminar: The Gross—Kohnen—Zagier Theorem Via P-Adic Uniformization

We will explore an alternative approach to prove the Gross—Kohnen—Zagier theorem for the case of Shimura curves. For that, we will use the Cerednik—Drinfeld uniformization and the theory of p-adic families of modular forms. This is joint work in progress with Lea Beneish, Henri Darmon and Lennart Gehrmann.
