The Frobenius morphism in invariant theory
Let R be the homogeneous coordinate ring of the Grassmannian Gr(2,n) defined over an algebraically closed field of characteristic p. We may regard it as a module over R^{p^e}. We will describe the decompositions into indecomposables. In particular, we obtain that R satisfies the FFRT property. We will also discuss geometric consequences. This is a joint work with Theo Raedschelders and Michel Van den Bergh.
