Recovering R-symbols from modular data

In search of invariants of modular tensor categories (MTCs) beyond modular data, we consider the R-symbols of an MTC. We find the R-symbols of a ribbon category for some gauge choice can be completely determined by its fusion rules, ribbon structure and some generalized 2nd Frobenius-Schur indicators. For an MTC, the generalized Frobenius-Schur indicators can be expressed in terms of its modular data, and so are the R-symbols. The talk is based on a joint work with Eric Rowell and Xiao-Gang Wen.
