Bernard Lidicky and Christina Goldschmidt will join us.  The session will begin with a short (5-minute) presentation by Bernard, offering an overview of how applications are reviewed within a department and how candidates are evaluated based on their documents. Next, participants will discuss best practices and common pitfalls among themselves. The session will conclude with a 30-minute panel discussion with Bernard and Christina who will reflect on:



  • the most important aspects you look for in application documents.




  • what they pay the most attention to when they prepare(d) their documents?




  • their best advices they received about preparing academic job applications?
