DG Tricks in Local Algebra IV
This talk will firstly give more detail on the homotopy Lie algebra. Then we will introduce cohomological support varieties, survey their connection with Eisenbud operators and matrix factorisations, and how they can be used to prove some results of Avramov and Buchweitz on the homological algebra of complete intersections. The goal is to explain an interesting and useful connection between cohomological support varieties and the homotopy Lie algebra.
