A quick introduction of microlocal sheaf theory

Abstract/Media

Zoom Link

Microlocal sheaf theory has been obtaining applications to symplectic geometry in recent years such as the toric homological mirror symmetry via the coherent-constructible correspondence. After motivating the talk with this application, we will introduce some basic tool kits from the theory and, along the way, introduce the various A-side objects which appeared in the statement of the correspondence. If time allows, I will then talk about my joint work with Wenyuan Li on studying the said objects in the Hochschild invariant framework.
