Escape of mass for higher rank actions and the inhomogeneous Littlewood conjecture

We study escape of mass for higher-rank diagonal actions on the space of lattices and its applications to the inhomogeneous Littlewood conjecture. In particular, we prove that the Hausdorff dimension of the exceptional set for the inhomogeneous Littlewood conjecture is equal to 1, matching the conjectured dimension.
