As a graduate student at UCB in the early 1990s, I attended Math275 - Combinatorial Game Theory. I will try to share with the audience how striking it was for me, and likely for others, to attend Elwyn Berlekamp's classes.
I will also show how the seed planted at that moment grew in Portugal, years later
