Abstract/Media

Anosov representations provide a robust class of discrete subgroups of semisimple Lie groups. I will discuss joint work with Sambarino and Wienhard in which we study Anosov representations whose limit set is the graph of a Lipschitz function. In my talk I will explain how this information can be used to provide bounds on the exponential growth rate for the action on the associated symmetric space: it is possible to find an explicit linear functional, the unstable Jacobian, that has constant critical exponent.
