We will discuss the notion of categorical entropy of autoequivalence introduced by Dimitrov, Haiden, Katzarkov and Kontsevich. This is motivated from the connection between Teichmuller theory and theory of stability conditions on triangulated categories. If time permits, we will also discuss several categorical analogues of properties of pseudo-Anosov maps.
