Polynomial-like maps are a fundamental tool in studying the dynamics of analytic functions on the complex plane. In this talk we will discuss the definition, properties, and renormalization of these maps and look at some applications to the structure of the Mandelbrot set.
This seminar is for postdocs and PhD students, and we kindly ask faculty not to attend.
