In this installment of the career development panel, our guests will share their experiences and insights with respect to transitioning from academic mathematics to industry careers. Topics to be discussed include possible avenues for such transitions, key differences between the academic and industrial mindsets, strategies for leveraging the benefits of academic training in a company setting, and some of the mathematical problems currently of interest in industry.
