Khovanov homology is an invariant of links defined through combinatorics and representation theory. Symplectic Khovanov homology is a Floer-theoretic counterpart with connections to Lie theory, hyperkahler geometry, and geometric representation theory. This talk will give an overview of how it’s defined and some of the questions that arise from that definition.
