I will give a hands on description of what twisted parametrized S^1-spectra are, and describe how these arise as Seiberg-Witten homotopy invariants of 3 manifolds. I will then discus how this might generalize some of the ideas Jianfeng Lin discussed last week about computing Seiberg-Witten invariants when 4 manifold bundles are cut along 3 manifold sub-bundles. Although this talk is closely related to my talk at Berkeley on September 28th it will be independent and with a different perspective.
