This seminar series will take place on UC Berkeley campus, in Evans Hall room 939.

We will discuss some geometric properties of the figure eight knot complement that characterize it among one cusped hyperbolic manifolds, such as the volume, number of nonhyperbolic Dehn fillings, cusp volume and waist size.
