Description
This symposium is designed to address current issues in meta-analysis. There will be reports on four topics: meta-analysis for policy decisions, publication bias, heterogeneity models, and equating of medical outcome measures. In addition, there will be other topics related to the methodology of meta-analysis or systematic reviews. CALL FOR ABSTRACTS Abstracts for oral presentations or poster sessions are invited on the above or related topics. The closing date for abstracts is March 15, 2002. Abstracts of one to two pages in length may be submitted electronically to meta@msri.org or by hard copy to Meta-Analysis Symposium, Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, 1000 Centennial Drive, #5070, Berkeley, CA 94720-5070. REGISTRATION INFORMATION The registration fee is $250 before March 15, 2002, and $400 thereafter. This fee may be adjusted or waived in special cases. To pay the fee, please send a check made out to "MSRI" to Meta-Analysis Symposium, Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, 1000 Centennial Drive, #5070, Berkeley, CA 94720-5070. Visa and Mastercard accepted at the door. For more information about MSRI, please see Mission and Governance STRUCTURE OF THE MEETING (note, revised 4/5/02) Wednesday, May 8 For those arriving in time for dinner there will be an informal get-together, meeting at the Durant Hotel at 6:30pm (no-host dinner).
