(Log)-epiperimetric inequalities have proved extremely effective to show uniqueness of tangents with isolated singularity for almost minimizers of several geometric functionals, e.g. the area functional. In this talk we aim to explain how such approach can be extended to both the Dirichlet energy and the Yang-Mills lagrangian.
