Pseudo-Anosov flows seminar: From pseudo-Anosov flows (without perfect fits) to veering triangulations, II
We will review ideal and taut triangulations and then define veering triangulations. Then we can say (finally!) how a pseudo-Anosov flow (without perfect fits) gives a veering triangulation. We next will discuss the upper and lower branched surfaces. If there is time, we will hint at the way back: that is, how to recover the flow from the veering triangulation.
