From quasigeodesic to pseudo-Anosov flows
Calegari conjectured that every quasigeodesic flow on a closed hyperbolic 3-manifold can be deformed to a pseudo-Anosov flow. I will outline a proof of this conjecture, joint with Steven Frankel.
