Abstract

I will show how the Hilbert--Einstein functional detects the
Reeb vector fields having a vanishing transversal Futaki
invariant and so that it is an obstruction to the existence
of constant scalar curvature Sasaki metrics. I will also discuss
the relation of this functional with the sasakian
K-stability defined by Collins--Szekelyhidi
