This two-day workshop will survey notable developments in the foundations and applications of higher category theory. It will consist of two mini-courses given by emerging female leaders in the subject: Claudia Scheimbauer and Nathalie Wahl.  This will be paired with a problem sessions lead by selected "TA's", themselves experts in higher structures.  Each lecture series will be tailored to a diverse audience, accessible to graduate students and non-expert researchers with some background in homological algebra.   The majority of the speakers and panelists for this event will be women and gender minorities, and members of these groups and of other underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to attend. This workshop is open to all mathematicians. Additional funding provided by:

To apply for funding, you must register by the funding application deadline displayed above.

Students, recent PhDs, women, and members of underrepresented minorities are particularly encouraged to apply. Funding awards are typically made 6 weeks before the workshop begins. Requests received after the funding deadline are considered only if additional funds become available.
