Persistent Homology in One or More Parameters

Abstract

This talk is an overview of persistent homology in one or more discrete or continuous parameters, including past and potential applications to brain structure and function. After a review of the main concepts, the focus will be on challenges and recent developments in multiparameter methods, concerning mathematics, statistics, and computation.
