Description
This meeting will be joint for the first two days with the MSRI workshop on Quantization and Non-commutative Geometry, and during the three-day period April 29 - May 1 will function as a closing conference for the 2000-01 MSRI program on Operator Algebras. Speakers will include Alain Connes, Joachim Cuntz, Eberhard Kirchberg, Sorin Popa, Ian Putnam, and Dan-Virgil Voiculescu. This workshop is funded in part by the National Program Committee of the Canadian Mathematical Research Institutes (Centre de Recherches Mathematiques, Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences, and The Fields Institute).
