K-12 To Post-Secondary Viewpoint Critical Issues In Mathematics Education

Abstract

How we can enhance pedagogical practices in mathematics through contextual frameworks such as the SDG2030 coupled with educational frameworks (experiential learning, inquiry-based learning, active learning etc.) to not only help students solve societal problems but also help develop their competencies in problem solving that are not often taught in a traditional mathematics classroom.
