The general public and SLMath visitors are welcome to join us to celebrate the closing of the art exhibit featuring works by Stephen Beal on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 5:30-7:30pm at the 2nd floor commons room and outdoor deck. This event is free and open to the public. Art will be on display throughout the 2nd floor of the building. RSVPs are requested but not required.

The International Congress of Mathematicians will be held July 23-30, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The congress coincides with 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the 40th anniversary of the last ICM was held in the United States.

The ICM offers a rare opportunity to meet some of the world's leading mathematicians and be inspired by the vast diversity of today’s mathematics. The official website of the Congress is www.icm2026.org. Further information regarding ICM 2026 will be made available in due course; registration will open in January 2025.

SLMath invites all attendees of the 2027 Joint Mathematics Meetings in Chicago, Illinois, to join us for the Institute's special events and research sessions organized by program participants. (Details to be announced in Fall 2026)
