Join SLMath / Mathical staff with the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) for the announcement of the 2026 winners and honor books receiving the Mathical Book Prize, with live author readings. This event is free and open to the public and takes place from 12-1pm US Eastern Time (9-10am Pacific Time) via Zoom.

The International Congress of Mathematicians will be held July 23-30, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The congress coincides with 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the 40th anniversary of the last ICM was held in the United States.

The ICM offers a rare opportunity to meet some of the world's leading mathematicians and be inspired by the vast diversity of today’s mathematics. The official website of the Congress is www.icm2026.org. Further information regarding ICM 2026 will be made available in due course; registration will open in January 2025.
